I have been working at Bevilacqua Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smaller company with less overhead allows them to be more personal.

    Cons

Smaller company so they have less perks that some bigger companies have.

    Advice to Management

Keep the employees in mind and what will keep them working hard. Offer more training.

I have been working at Bevilacqua Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great job, Great Boss, Great co-workers

    Cons

Benefits are difficult. because of a transition of a small company taking on bigger contracts for the government, some things do not run as smooth as you would hope. No money for Christmas parties or bonuses.

I have been working at Bevilacqua Research full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There is a sense of purpose and humanity in what we do here. Everyone is on the same page as far as wanting to better the lives of those less fortunate.

    Cons

You have to get used to the idea that you're working at a non-profit, so the pay isn't going to be quite what you're worth.

    Advice to Management

I would try to negotiate for more flexibility when it comes time to make long term contracts, which allocate funds to each program. Other than that, I feel great about the work being done here and would recommend it to anyone who has a desire to make a difference in homeless outreach.
