    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Bexel Broadcast Services full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - The people you work with are smart eager people. - Benefits were awesome. 100 all paid for. - Free catered lunch during busy jobs. - Cool overall projects/jobs. (NFL, Olympics, TV Shows etc.)

    Cons

    - The pay gap between lower level employees and low/mid level employees were huge. - Randomly favor certain employees over others. - Promised growth but never tried up on it.

    Advice to Management

This stuff might be fixed now as it has been some time since I worked there. My advice is to move with the times and become a competitive place to work. The majority of the employees leave to work at other rental companies because they are paid more and treated better.

I worked at Bexel Broadcast Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The engineering department and the engineers are amazing Very laid back If you have no experience, you still start at about $13 Hour long lunch Resources are here and you can benefit from it if you use your time wisely` Benefits - 401K and health

    Cons

They will not invest in you - no training Superiors were never involved with sales (i.e. VP) No incentive to better yourself here Work is not distributed evenly Management doesn't know what goes on in each department 8-5 or 9-6

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Bexel Broadcast Services full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

State of the art technology that is consistently updated

    Cons

Not much earning potential for senior level technical staff. Once you are hired, raises are rare. So much that no one has seen a cost of living adjustment in well over 5 years

    Advice to Management

Give your technical staff a reason to improve the status quo and exceed expectations. When wages stagnate, most see no reason to impress anyone. Also, when someone asks for time off/vacation and consistently gets denied (for several years), it causes burn out. You need to nurture the more valuable members of your teams and keep their attitude positive. The current culture is fostering a double standard where key... tech. Staff is expected to outperform their weaker peers without the benefit of reward or compensation.
