I worked at Big 5 Sporting Goods part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Managers and team very friendly. Expectations were perfect for what experience I had. I learned pretty much everything very quickly! Was able to incorporate a imaginative mind.

    Cons

Minimum pay, and difficult to move up. There were times I wasn't doing anything at all. It was good for a first job / college job but I found scheduling to be difficult around a young person's schedule.

    Advice to Management

Provide incentive to move up the ladder and maybe a program of doing so!
