Pros
One of the biggest pros of working for Big Geyser Management is their exceptional level of care and appreciation for their employees. They truly go the extra mile to ensure that every employee feels valued and appreciated. This can be seen through various employee engagement initiatives that they have in place, such as employee recognition programs, regular team-building activities, and a supportive work environment. Big Geyser Management understands that happy and motivated employees are the key to a successful organization, and they prioritize creating a positive and nurturing work culture.
Cons
The company expects a high level of commitment and dedication from its employees, and this can sometimes create a sense of pressure. Big Geyser Management values employees who see their job as a long-term career rather than just a job, and this can be challenging for individuals who are looking for paycheck.

Pros
Working with business owners/managers to grow their sales. Provided with all the tools needed to succeed. Including real-time market data specific to your territory/demographics. Pay compensation is better than that of any of their other competitors. Work/Life balance is ideal for a business professional that has a family. Weekends off. Professional and dedicated upper management team that's there to help you achieve goals.
Cons
In terms of the company, I do not have anything that I dislike. I like that work performance is all that matters at the end of the day. Big Geyser is numbers driven. Everything is assessed in black and white. Very fair and professional company. The main challenge I've had is trying not to bring the work home. That's more of an individual challenge I have with myself.

Pros
Most weekends off, free drinks
Cons
This company hires you as full time, but has in place an incentive program that only appeals to those who don't understand the logic behind it. Big Geyser gives you a full days worth of work, but their incentive plan is to ensure that the weeks work is all done in under 40 hours. Sounds nice right? Wrong, this gives the company every excuse to force you from taking a day off. Because the job is sold as a guaranteed full time 40 hrs regardless, that only applies of you are here every single day. If you accumulate sick time and assume that it will cover you when used, you are wrong. If you use a sick day, then you better hope the team doesn't finish work early because you will get punished for it. This is the only company I've ever worked for that gives you full time work, harasses you to get done early only to penalize you for taking a day off. Apparently you are only part of the team if you never use your sick time.

Pros
If you are looking for a job to have for the meantime Big geyser is a good place to start, but also Big Geyser allows you to move up for better positions if you are looking to make a career from them. They also have benefits that you are able to use if you please.
Cons
Like any other job there are days where there will be a lot of work to do. Sometimes you do feel like you have to rush to get through the day effectively. However they do offer OT if needed and you are allowed to ask for more merchandising help if you feel you need it.
- 5.0Oct 26, 2023Account ManagerCurrent Employee, more than 5 yearsNew York, NY
Pros
Being able to control your income is a great part of this job. The more work you put into your route, it will reflect greatly in your paycheck at the end of the week. Having off weekends is always a plus. All major holidays as well.
Cons
Dealing with customers sometimes can be a doozy but it is all apart of the sales experience. Coverage from swing reps while you are away will not always be up to your standard of work and you'll have to come back and put the pieces back together of the puzzle.

Pros
Awesome company with tons of great people at all levels. Very passionate about building brands as well as their own in the hyper competitive beverage/snack industry, while competing against the big players.Account managers help you out a lot. As a merchandiser, once you get the hang of it, it becomes a second nature. It is always satisfying to compare your before and after pictures of a store visit, and to be proud of building brands!

Big Geyser provides the ideal work environment where one is able to work as part of a team and allows everyones talents to grow. Its simple, work hard and you will be rewarded. They compensate well, and constantly promote within the company. Another plus, is they provide you with the resources you need to get the job done.
