I worked at Big Orange Productions part-time

    Pros

They would always book me for the promotions that I applied for because I continuously offered a high level of customer service. They were really responsive and I was always paid on time.

    Cons

As a market manager they shipped a pallet of promotional material to my home without notifying me, didn't offer to open a storage unit for me, gave me no direction on what accounts to send it to, and had me hold it at my home for 3 months (at the time I lived with my parents and they were a bit upset). They also offered me no additional compensation to drive around to several liquor stores in the state, which took me two days to do.

    Advice to Management

I loved my brand ambassador experience: Chris and the team were so welcoming and responsive, as was the distributor I was partnered with. Once they offered me more responsibility they were unable to connect me with the right people to ensure that the product and accounts were where they needed to be. Once I started working in marketing full time I worked with 50+ agencies across 23 states: I've seen the best and I've seen the worst. They definitely rank up there for the quality of their people, but the communication can sometimes fall to the wayside.

I have been working at Big Orange Productions part-time

    Pros

    Selling and meeting new people

    Cons

Stores don't always have the stock you need to sell. You have to go with alternative product

    Advice to Management

Sometimes it's difficult to go to a store and they aren't expecting you. I'm learning to get things done by myself as staff is so busy. Most stores I've worked have been very helpful

I have been working at Big Orange Productions part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Jobs available to work if you can actually book them

    Cons

Staff does not get back to you, tons of reports, surveys, photos, uploads to several sites with some events, try not to pay you when you have proof you were there because you didn't have one receipt, then when you challenge them, they won't give you assignments. Too many hoops to jump through, bad attitude, they think you aren't "thinking fast on your feet" when they don't make instructions clear in their emails as they go out to many different states and events......some instructions apply to you and some don't, but they blame it all on you. Have worked there for over 5 years, don't think I can deal with it any more. Study of event and after event reporting, surveys, photos, receipts etc. take hours at home, along with bringing everything with you except the kitchen sink.

    Advice to Management

Don't blame issues on the ambassador, half of it is your mismanagement and attitude, fix the portal, return emails and calls. You scramble to fill jobs, yet treat your long-term, reliable ambassadors like dirt. You end up paying extra to whoever, just to fill the position and not lose it.

I have been working at Big Orange Productions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of 1 good thing about working for this company. At they do have a lot of jobs, but they also have WAY too many employees. I've worked for them for 6 months and I've gotten, 1 job.

    Cons

rude management, if you ask a question, you will NEVER get a response. you can email, call and leave voicemails and they just ignore you. you might get 1 job a month if you're lucky. they won't pay you until 45 days later, if at all. Good luck trying to get ahold of them regarding your pay. very unorganized, unprofessional and unethical company.

    Advice to Management

take some ethics classes. have some integrity, care just a little about your employ
