I have been working at Bihrle Applied Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's no surprise that this small business is healthy and thriving, they are all about the teamwork. From interns all the way up to the President, everyone is treated equally and respectfully, which builds a positive atmosphere and makes you want to give 100% everyday.
Work/life balance is good, benefits are decent (especially for a small business), schedules can be flexible, and the option to work remotely when needed is no problem.

    Cons

Like most small businesses, documented processes and procedures are lacking, but it's not a show-stopper and it seems like there may be some movement in upper management towards implementing some sort of Quality Management System.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!!

I have been working at Bihrle Applied Research as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Dedicated staff, great mentor ship, talented engineers, very professional, a tremendous amount of experience, excellent communication skills. Warm friendly work environment.

    Cons

The commute from norfolk was very long due to traffic. Also the location is a little far from any restaurants.
