I have been working at Bioclinica full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    North America and Europe presence

    Cons

HR run by an exec who is a control freak and negatively impacts the business
CEO wants to paint a rosy picture when it's not the case
A female executive in charge of a division brings the 'Trump' effect - never listens, knows it all even when wrong, and is a dictator - lack of inspiration

    Advice to Management

Focus on doing what you say. If you have a work stream with feedback from employees have the integrity to communicate of you don't plan to implement any of their recommendations.
Be consistent in applying company policies
Be honest with the numbers. That are reported
Treat people with respect not as a disposable commodity-
Stem the tide of turnover that's above industry standard
Bring in experienced leadership- not people who have been hired beyond their capabilities
Limit the power of HR to focus on hiring, employee morale and not intervening on business matters that they are unfamiliar with

    Pros

    none none none none none

    Cons

Total disconnect from the upper management. Middle management is mostly inexperienced and incompetent. Employees are kept in the dark about their future. There are constant mergers and acquisitions. Managers have to lie to their employees to keep them around. No clear long term goals.
HR department consists of the meanest people possible on top and is absolutely inapproachable.

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting people from inside who do not have true industry experience.
Home come at the town halls there are huge gains announced every quarter, but in reality the company is always behind on budget?

    Pros

People are generally friendly. Bagels on Friday.

    Cons

    1. Rigid with policies - no work improvement processes
    2. Salary is profoundly low for industry standard
    3. High turn-over due to salary and nature of work
    4. CTMS are clunky, very slow - cause major work stoppage, delay issues, causing longer hours of work in order to complete deadlines
    5. Workload is high due to low staff issues
    6. Almost 1/2 of the staff is never in the office, but all ee's are required to dress in biz casual clothing (most of their competitors allow casual dress).

    Advice to Management

If you paid your employees as they should (you are a 100-200 million dollar profit company) then your turn-over wouldn't be so grossly high. Improve your systems, they are causing major work delays. People are so over-worked that they don't stop to take ANY breaks.

    I worked at Bioclinica full-time

    Pros

It is difficult to say anything good about Bioclinica anymore. A very few good people remaining. Expect most ofamous them to leave soon.

    Cons

Senior executive management in eClinical are as unethical as they come. I have seen lies, sexual harrasmet and management through threats. HR knows but are afraid to do anything.

    Advice to Management

This is to the Owners as the management are the unethical corrupt group that fooled you into paying what you did. Actually look at the people in charge. Speak with the employees and HR. Pull back the covers you will be shocked with what you find.

I have been working at Bioclinica full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Literally just trying to meet the 20 word minimum requirement because I can't find a single positive thing to say about this company :)

    Cons

This place is a hell hole--expect to work long hours with below average pay. Honestly you can make more working at a postal office than here.

Operations department is a mess and management is very lackluster. The manager has an unreliable schedule and is either out of office or WFH for most days of the week. Don't expect any real guidance, support, or communication from management--they can't be trusted.

    Advice to Management

    - Find someone with REAL management experience who actually knows how to run a team.

    - Give senior IOAs more incentive to stay with the company. Raises and compensation for ops is basically nonexistent.

    Pros

    Friendly co/workers and dedicated Director

    Cons

Low salary, constant uncertainty as Bioclinica has been continually laying off its American employees in favor of lower wage overseas employees

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people when you already have plans of laying them off 1 year down the road
