I have been working at Birch Communications

      Pros

The only Pros that I can think about is the quality of the remaining employees of Cbeyond that still remain working there expecting things to improve after the disastrous acquisition.

      Cons

So many to enumerate. Not competitive pricing, project coordinators lack of professionalism and follow up with sales execs, have lost multiple deals because of no follow up with clients and the way they keep us in the dark as far as the status o our installations. I have accepted a positions at another company and I'm seeing lots of my former Cbeyond colleagues doing the same. We used to have close to 70 sales reps...

      Advice to Management

Think more about Customers and your sales team. Fire all of your unprofessional and inept project coordinators, and hire qualified individuals. Your pricing sucks and even the indirect channel managers have quit, and now our partners won't even business our way because of the horrible reputation that this company has. So sad to see a succesful company like Cbeyond turn into the crap that Birch is. Hire all new Clevel...

      Negative Outlook

I have been working at Birch Communications full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

Salesforce Outlook (exception: integration was a total nightmare) Lunch There are not enough "pros" to meet the 20 word minimum

      Cons

Bureaucratic sales environment Inefficient sales and installation process Unobtainable quota Poor leadership Poor systems flow Budget conscious in all the wrong areas Poor training Poor reputation

      Advice to Management

Decrease communications interval between internal departments, and departments that are customer facing. Streamline systems involved in sales process. Simplify sales process, and operations process'. End the bureaucracy that is everyday life in this sales environment. Improve customer communications in all departments.
