    Pros

Great benefits and great people to work with.

I worked at BlackBerry as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Blackberry paid well for a Co-op testing position with no experience. I met a lot of interesting people and played an unexpectedly important role during the company's transitional period. I also learned a lot about IT and setting up a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

    Cons

The office is all grey cubicles, making a depressing environment. My work was repetitive and involved a lot of manual setup of servers. I ended up getting a repetitive stress injury from my work at BlackBerry.

    Advice to Management

Allow for more personalized work spaces and help employees with preventing repetitive motion injuries.

I worked at BlackBerry full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

early 2000s - great working environment; great leaders; great products
2010s - change in management; cocky C-levels refused to see market trends; decline in product diversity; decline in morale, decline in fun..
    pay was above market (IMHO)

    Cons

current day:- low morale, low drive, direction has changed to software but no revenue upswing.. now what?
Many times, work 10 hours, come home for dinner, then conf call at 9-10p for a hour or two.. don't like it, find another job... no recognition for extra time spent..

    Advice to Management

question - what do you do when you're half way down a rabbit hole?
