I worked at BlackBerry as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working at BBRY was an incredible learning experience for me. It built the foundation for my career. I'm not much of a person to `hail corporate`, but every time I check BRRY stock prices I always hope it's gotten higher. I feel indebted to this company, and wish it the best success.

    Cons

Honestly kind of pedestrian (boring) to later experiences I had. Isn't the absurd Bay Area internship experience others might be expecting. Intern salary isn't ridiculous like other SV companies. As I like to say when I talk about my resume to recruiters, "not the hottest company". You probably won't get a return offer due to financial issues and growth within the company.

    Advice to Management

Keep on moving. Keep on improving.

    Pros

I've learned a lot, and my resume is much more built up having an internship at BlackBerry.

    Cons

None really. I was not offered a return internship due to the performance of the business unit, but I didn't take it personally.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Try not to make insanely expensive phones.
