    Pros

Talented and caring people who work hard to carry out management direction. The company takes care of the employees even when they have to downsize.

    Cons

The hardware direction of management is years behind the leaders in the sector and seems incapable of catching up in the near term.

    Advice to Management

Look to innovate the hardware instead of trying to catch up with the leaders. More imagination is needed as to the possibility of big changes in the sector's direction. You missed one shift, take a chance on the next one.

    Pros

Some of the employees are smart, talented folks.

    Cons

I have said it for almost a year now, that John Chen is NOT the right person for the job. He clearly does not understand the business and is wearing 'blinders' as it relates to BB hardware.

The management team he initially brought in (2013/2014) has been replaced multiple times and the middle management team is LOST.

    Advice to Management

Gracefully remove John Chen and the group he brought in. His only accomplishment related to 'financials' was to reduce the workforce and sell off assets.

Mr. Chen says he wants to stay in hardware (devices) but it seems at a high cost to employees.
