    Pros

Benefits, environment, challenges, development, amazing place to work, lots of young and smart people, good place to make friends.

    Cons

Career plan, professional growth, visibility, if you are not part of the close circle of your manager, you basically get no recognition

I worked at BlackBerry full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

early 2000s - great working environment; great leaders; great products
2010s - change in management; cocky C-levels refused to see market trends; decline in product diversity; decline in morale, decline in fun..
    pay was above market (IMHO)

    Cons

current day:- low morale, low drive, direction has changed to software but no revenue upswing.. now what?
Many times, work 10 hours, come home for dinner, then conf call at 9-10p for a hour or two.. don't like it, find another job... no recognition for extra time spent..

    Advice to Management

question - what do you do when you're half way down a rabbit hole?

I have been working at BlackBerry as an intern

    Pros

Good working environment with clean office.

    Cons

BB does not retain most of the co-op. and the company is not in the best shape to recruit fresh blood. Almost 80% of the employees are above 40 and have been in BB for more than 10 years. Co-ops are not trained properly because they don't want to put this effort since they are not going to retain Co-ops'. Thats why the learning curve is not impressive and interesting.

    Advice to Management

Get new people to get new ideas and teach seniors how to behave well because it does not cost anything
