I worked at BlackRock full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Compensation very competitive, especially the annual bonus
Dynamic team with high expectations and performance - rewarded and promoted success
Company has a very strong brand. Looks good on CV

Very high expectations meant long working hours
Level of responsibility started to become a burden on work-life-balance
Still not sold on this industry

    Advice to Management

If the whole business is like this team the company is doing it just right. Nothing like the environment of some of the Investment Banks, much more supportive
