    I have been working at Blackbaud full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    I like my job and my colleges. I still feel like I learn something new with a team that encourages me to push my skill. And you do have flexible hours, and if you need to work from home you are able to.

    Cons

    Doesn't pay a competitive wage what so ever. You can go to any other tech company and get paid 2 or even 3 times as much for the exact same position. It really makes you feel that all your hard work and overtime is not valued.

    Advice to Management

    You really need to re-evaluate wages to make sure you are actually paying a competitive wage.

    I worked at Blackbaud full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    4 weeks of vacation! Generally 40 hour weeks. Some people can work remote. Free coffee. It's a job.

    Cons

    Resistant to change, terrible product, corporate work environment where people walk around like zombies, don't help each other, do only their jobs. It's mind numbing. Nobody cares about the product. My suggestions were mostly ignored, but at least one showed up on the product road map (meaning the manager passed it on without giving me credit).

    Advice to Management

    I would recommend re-investing in your software. Build a better product. I'm sure that's not going to happen. This company is a money pump to investors.
