I have been working at Blackhawk Network full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice colleagues, relaxed environment, employee out office events

    Cons

They made their money, sold out and are now sending American jobs to El Salvador. The wealthy owners only care about the $$$$, not the people.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with your employees!!! Hope the big wigs enjoy spending their billions made from the hard work and dedication from many people who you have casually discarded to make more money for yourselves. American employees and customers are what grew your business and you are now sending our jobs to another country so you can pay people $2 an hour . Shame on Blackhawk Network and Silver Lake P2 Partners (the new owners).

I have been working at Blackhawk Network full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A very fun working environment. They make you feel loved. Very positive atmosphere, and they treat you with respect. Lots of fun activites. I have worked at 5 call centers over the past 30 years, and this is by far the best experience. They give you a real sense of community, and the gossip and backstabbing seems to be minimal. The insurance benefits are very good, and so is their 401K. They genuinely try their best to help you succeed.

    Cons

The pay is not that great. I genuinely love this place and the people here, but I am seriously considering taking another call center job in the area that has a $6 an hour greater starting pay. It breaks my heart to do this.

    Advice to Management

Improve the rate of pay. You have intelligent, exceptional people working here. Keep them here by offering a higher rate of pay.
