Pros
This is a great place to teach when it comes to the students and the faculty. The campus is fine looking and the facilities are good for a quality educational experience.
Cons
The management of the school is quite detached. Programs are sometimes rolled out with little to no faculty input.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Blinn College full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
Decent pay Summer teaching not required. Benefits are decent.
Cons
Upper administration mocks and abuses faculty and staff in meetings. Views students as bags of money, sits on faculty reiumbursements even if the reiumbursement was approved in the hopes faculty will forget about. Forcing FT faculty to retire/quit to save costs. College is currently in debt to pay for the Chancellor's spending habits , including building unsafe, glass walls and buildings because she likes the aesthetics. Expect to work teaching overloads.

Pros
More days off compared to other schools
Cons
Administration does not care about students just the money they bring in for school. They emphasize new butts in seats over providing assistance to current students. Also will not allow for approval of full time employees for faculty or staff so not to have to pay benefits. So are over liaded with part time staff/instructors. Some upper administration experts you to work as much as they do, ie respond to emails when on vacation. Hard to have work life balance.
