I have been working at Bloom Energy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The majority of the coworkers are nice and easy to get along with are wonderful.

    Cons

Well once you are exposed to their world you come to realize the company isn't very "special"at all, lacks organization and most importantly INTEGRITY. With Bloom Energy everything that glitter isn't gold. Nothing special about the culture or environment. There is complete favoritism at this here on many levels. For those with a real career, you would definitely have to lower your standards if you decide to work here.

    Advice to Management

Sell your brand while it has value. Its just a matter of time before it is exposed.

    Pros

    Friendly colleagues. Interesting technology.

    Cons

Too many departments and managers, with lack of communications between each departments.
Manager favors certain employees. Performance review is based on how well your manager likes you, and not by the work you did.

I worked at Bloom Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Amazing Insurance
    Clean premises
    Lots of room for parking
    Free coffee & tea
Flexible work hours - good when you need to take care of kids, work from home occasionally

    Cons

Lower pay - understandable for a startup
Chaos at every level of organization
    Back-stabbing culture
    No room for advancement
Management stuck in the last century - completely disregarding the workers

If the management/your boss does not like there is no way you will get promoted; I have seen fresh hires being promoted earlier than old timers who have bled for the company

Do your self a favor and do not believe the talks about great company culture, family like feeling as this goes only for the few employees who are well liked by their managers.

The company has still no clear direction of where its going. I do want to believe they will achieve great things and change the world but honestly I have already last all the hope and moved on to a company which actually values me.

    Advice to Management

Be transparent! Provide constructive feedback before the issues arise.
Value your employees - believe or not but the company stands as much on the worker bees as on the management.
Wish you can make the world a better place and keeping fingers crossed for you.
