The only con was a personal one, as I was just not well suited for my role.

    Pros

Cool atmosphere and lots of young people

    Cons

They hired and fired people every few months, seemed like a frat house at times, not many women in leadership.

    It was just okay.

    Pros

It's a decent entry-level job (for the first year). Somehow, the founders have an amazing ability to hire fantastic people (although the experience of what happens after being hired is another story). Some of the non-founder leadership was quite strong. The office was in a really nice location in Santa Monica and was dog-friendly. Your opportunities for growth and advancement depends on who you report to. You probably will never take work home.

    Cons

The founders don't really trust most people to do their jobs. Also, they definitely have favorites and it shows. Your experience will depend on who you report to. The founders seem really immature sometimes; they don't have a lot of experience in the tech world. When I was there, there was no HR and it was painful. Also… no women have ever held any major leadership roles while I was there, and this company is almost 10 years old. The pay is really bad and they do not give generous raises or bonuses to salaried employees (unless you threaten to quit).

Good place to start sales career, but nothing past that.

    Pros

Fun environment, good product, nice founders, close to the beach. Farbod (CEO) is one of the few people that truthfully has your best intentions, stand up guy.

    Cons

Management needs to learn to keep their employees and encourage them to do better rather than fire them or encourage they leave. Employees leave this company too quickly because they are underpaid and not treated with respect from management. There is no help when you aren't hitting your goal, they always just say "call more."

    Power struggles and in-fighting

    Pros

Great office location. Staff-level employees are really great, and a ton of fun to work with.

    Cons

The founding team is kind of a joke. There are 3 founders, and they each operate a different segment of the company, and it seems like each doesn't know what the other two is doing on any given day. There are power struggles, a total lack of communication, and a convoluted vision for the company's growth/strategy. Revenue has been essentially flat for years. Salaries are significantly lower than industry standards, and there are very few opportunities for advancement or increases (despite what they tell newly minted SDRs during the recruitment/hiring process). Benefits package is also sub-standard. If career growth and a fair wage are important to you, I would look elsewhere.
