      Pros

Very flexible schedules and accommodating of work/life balance. Great values and commitment to the community, as a whole. Volunteer PTO is a huge bonus and a great way to give back.

      Cons

The population is a bit older and the pace seems very slow. Technology systems are dated. It's difficult to push initiatives forward due to behind-the-times technology and competing projects to get systems up to par in the exchange environment.

      Pros

Excellent health benefits. Onsite cafeteria offers healthy food options. Nice buildings. Ergonomic sit/stand work stations. Attractive campus with walking paths and free fitness centers.

      Cons

Even with recent improvements, IT far behind the times. Many archaic processes still used every day in every department. Some senior leaders are all about #1 and don't respect their employees.

      Pros

      Decent Salary, good coworkers too

      Cons

I drank the kool aid with this company. They are behind the times in the digital experience so they are trying sloppy and expensive ways to catch up. One thing they are forgetting is a lot of their business is seniors and Medicaid persons....these two segments are not as computer savvy as people in the workforce. Way to go Blue Cross......throw darts at your inefficiencies and forget the loyal customers who have been with and put up with you for years.
