    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Work life balance is typically good; have ownership over your work. The new CEO appears to be taking the company in a better direction than her predecessor, but she has 20+ years of culture to revamp.

    Cons

Senior Leadership doesn't care about employee advice and there is a culture of fear for disagreeing with direction, which doesn't lead to effective project conclusions. Leadership knows the answer they want and will make you force fit that conclusion even if the evidence/research doesn't support it. There is a bizarre political dynamic between Senior Leaders that gets in the way of projects; you can't email other people in your own company at times without approval from your Senior Leader.
