I have been working at Blue Raven Solar full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The executive leadership at this company operates with a goal in mind and the HR Director takes amazing care of the employees as well. From special holidays to employee recognition, I have rarely seen an environment so organized, efficient and productive while still enjoying what we do. If you are a person who wants to grow and improve - this is the environment for that.

    Cons

Seriously this is an amazing organization led by VERY intelligent people. You make great pay, you make a different in people's lives with solar savings and EVERYONE has environmental impact because this is Clean, Green, Renewable Energy so you take care of the Earth. I would easily recommend this company to anyone who wants to work hard for a great cause and grow.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in the growth of your people. This is often missed by so many environments in Utah County.

I have been working at Blue Raven Solar full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Upper management seems to care about every worker. Co-workers are great and share the same goals as the companies intent. The bonus structure is good if there's work.

      Cons

High turnover at corporate offices so you're always speaking with someone that doesn't really know their job that well. New hires are not trained well before being set free to run wild. Scheduling is horrible, generally not enough drive time or not enough time scheduled for the scope of work required. Middle management doesn't really seem to care about the average worker or their concerns, yet you'll be told to call,...

      Advice to Management

Work on employee retention at all levels, Better training for Project Ops staff before they're released into the wild to schedule, Employee surveys should mean something, Middle managements retaliation against complaints, Trust but verify middle management, Teach middle management how to bucket fill

They're still working out some kinks as they transition out of the start up phase.

I have been working at Blue Raven Solar full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Residual pay plan is unmatched in the industry. Closers are 1099 but aren’t treated or paid like one because of this ever growing base pay. Upper management is innovative, creative, fair, educated, independently successful, personable and available. Tons of friendly competition, quality branded swag, emphasize on personal development in our local/Colorado offices.

      Cons

No individual or company is perfect but this company is solutions oriented.

      Advice to Management

      Thanks for the opportunity.

I worked at Blue Raven Solar part-time for more than a year

      Pros

Decent work schedule. Worked around school. Nice people. Good team and decent pay.

      Cons

Don't expect to stay long-term because they don't care if you do or don't. Had a couple buddies that had their sights set on moving up in the company and had the tenure but got shafted big time despite them being the best on the team. High turnover in the props department but with two major colleges nearby... You are easily replaceable. Culture? Ha. That's funny. It's a fun place but I don't see them standing by any of...
