    Cons

Sometimes you feel like just a number, not a person, in this huge corporation. Too much corporate, red-tape BS

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees doing the job you are managing. They usually have excellent ideas, if just given the opportunity to voice them.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee

    Pros

for the chattanooga area BCBST one of the better employers

    Cons

lots of red tape, no communication, everyone protecting their own kingdoms instead of working together to make things better.

    Advice to Management

looking to the future of health care is very important to keep our company viable, but you need to take the opportunity to clean your own house too. bcbst used to be a place where the employees were valued. Now we are just another number on the bottom line.
