    I worked at Bluegreen Vacations

    Pros

Great motivational speeches in the morning is all I can say

    Cons

It's $10/hr VERSES commission. If there is only one wave in the morning and you're not chosen to sit with a family, that's it. By 10am you're done for the day and you go home. There's no way you'll ever see 40 hours a week like that. Many times there are far more reps than there are guests and so many reps have to go home. During slow season they start to trim so they go on a termination spree. I was one of like 20 people they let go IN JUST ONE DAY. If you're actually selling packages, you have to sell your butt off and sell large packages to earn anything over 30k.

I have been working at Bluegreen Vacations full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great and positive working environment. Managers are pleasant to work for and they are willing to work with you regarding necessary PTO time.

    Cons

Lack of sales opportunities during seasonal slow periods. Salary is based on commission only.

    Advice to Management

Marketing group should narrow down potential customers who would be a better fit for vacation ownership. Target guests who are 30 to 60 years old

Train you to lie & be dishonest. Management are More creative than Spielberg’s movies. Lack of values & integrity. Mind games all the time. !

    Advice to Management

People don’t buy it. Turnover is so high because of repulsive behaviour. Grow up & be real. !
