Pros
Everyone is super profressional and talent, very positive work environment. Exciting projects, lots of growth in my experience there.
Cons
Still uses software not common in industry like softImage.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Blur Studio full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Many projects so if you desire to create a strong portfolio from multiple projects then this is the place to be. Talent is very strong though some leads and supes are rusty
Cons
Outsourcing addiction, low pay, stressful environment, no room for growth, and extremely top heavy in terms of creative outlets. Only a few will be allowed any upward mobility within the company. Your best bet is to stay for a project or two and leave elsewhere if you actually want to be paid your worth or if you have ambitions for more. No one stays there long unless they’re friends with the right people. The same people are always in charge of every project even if their tastes don’t even match the subject matter. No one cares. With that said, you will have no problems if all you care about is whatever assignment you’re given and keep your head down. Don’t ask questions outside of that and you’ll be fine. Leave after a few projects.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Blur Studio full-time for less than a year
Pros
Surrounded by creative and brilliant people who work incredibly hard. Management, even all the way at the top, works just as hard and as long as the artists and team. Management doesn't ask you to do a task that they wouldn't first do themselves if they had the time, including the "low-level" tasks, such as cleaning out the fridge, etc. Open environment that encourages you to speak up and share your ideas. Comfortable work space where there are no cliques, or reasons to feel excluded. The camaraderie here is real and although everyone's working hard, we all still find time to take breaks and have fun. Truly a genuine place to work, appreciative of their employees, and makes a real effort to make Blur feel like home away from home, which is incredibly important when spending all 40+ hours a week here.
Cons
Meeting deadlines and occasionally working long hours, but that's the nature of the industry, and everyone knows what they're doing is worth the time and effort.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Blur Studio full-time for less than a year
Pros
There are none. Blur is a clicky place filled with ego-centric individuals who will step on anyone they need to to get to where they want to be.
Cons
The Millers are terrible people. They are bold faced liars that will say anything to get you to tow the line until they don't need you. Do not believe any of the hype. Blur is a terrible company and I would not recommend it to anyone.
