I have been working at Blur Studio full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Surrounded by creative and brilliant people who work incredibly hard. Management, even all the way at the top, works just as hard and as long as the artists and team. Management doesn't ask you to do a task that they wouldn't first do themselves if they had the time, including the "low-level" tasks, such as cleaning out the fridge, etc. Open environment that encourages you to speak up and share your ideas.... Comfortable work space where there are no cliques, or reasons to feel excluded. The camaraderie here is real and although everyone's working hard, we all still find time to take breaks and have fun. Truly a genuine place to work, appreciative of their employees, and makes a real effort to make Blur feel like home away from home, which is incredibly important when spending all 40+ hours a week here.

    Cons

Meeting deadlines and occasionally working long hours, but that's the nature of the industry, and everyone knows what they're doing is worth the time and effort.

    Advice to Management

None, just keep doing what you're doing.

I have been working at Blur Studio full-time

    Pros

First Time Introduction to Field Company

    Cons

Staying more than 1 year Need to Kiss Butt, lots of it Need to rise above while stabbing teamate's in the back Stay away from certain Coordinators, No Nothing types and love to throw you under the bus

    Advice to Management

Be mindful of how you treat your staff. Once in a while, and giving credit where it's due helps a lot... not your token suck up members with little or NO Education! You have a few managers that are chronic suck ups and when members on their team

    Pros

....... Oh, as long as you're a SUCK UP things will work out for you. No matter if you are good worker or not; you can even screw things up... As long as you are a Suck Up all will be forgiven

    Cons

Too many to list but Only Suck Ups get ahead Back Stabbing environment No room to advance Mgrs take stress back to work and you feel it Suck Ups are disastrous to work around Pay is extremely low ...

    Advice to Management

Get off the Suck Ups and Give Credit where Credit is due to ACTUAL Wokers.

I have been working at Blur Studio full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are none. Blur is a clicky place filled with ego-centric individuals who will step on anyone they need to to get to where they want to be.

    Cons

The Millers are terrible people. They are bold faced liars that will say anything to get you to tow the line until they don't need you. Do not believe any of the hype. Blur is a terrible company and I would not recommend it to anyone.

    Advice to Management

    Quit.
