Very diverse workforce, usually a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

    Cons

Attendance issues causing stress on the rest of the staff. Managers being frustrated and taking it out on the employees that did show up.

I worked at Bob Evans Restaurants full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

401 is a great benefit. Nine o'clock closings are a huge plus.

    Cons

No seating rotations, it's all or nothing. One server will be so busy she can't keep up while 3 others have an empty section. Too many steps of service to wait on tables efficiently. Training as a server is a week-long following somebody and doing all there busing of tables. The aprons pull at your neck and is annoying.

    Advice to Management

Rotate seating so guest don't suffer.

I worked at Bob Evans Restaurants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

very friendly coworkers and supervisors, easy work, nice facilities

    Cons

Shift hours often ran long, tiresome and repetitive work

    Advice to Management

Most if not all downsides to the job came from the nature of the position itself and did not reflect poorly on the management.

I worked at Bob Evans Restaurants full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only good thing about this job was the relationships I created with the employees.

    Cons

Hours are too long. Work/Life balance is a lie. Upper management is uncaring and suspicious of everything. Rude, lack of compassion or empathy for others. Main objective is counter productive to great customer service. Too many jobs to complete for an extremely low pay. Late hours is a guarantee. No compensation for milage to work at other stores. Ungrateful company. You will be lied to in order to convince you to take the job.

    Advice to Management

Be NICE!! Get your focus off of labor hours and focus on taking care of your employees & your customers.
