Bobcat of St. Louis is part of a growing dealership network that conducts operations in Missouri as well as a few other surrounding states. The continuous expansion of this company can be attributed to the strategic planning for prolonged sustainability and acquisition of talented employees. The employees at Bobcat of St. Louis, regardless of their department, dedicate themselves to providing industry-leading service to the markets that they serve. The work environment is comprised of employees who work well together and who take responsibility for the roles that they are entrusted to uphold. The training received by employees is ongoing to ensure that the dealership network remains at the top of the industry when compared to the competition. The supervisors and upper-level management are constantly in touch with their subordinates to ensure that work is progressing smoothly and employee feedback is being attained. Any issues or problems that arise within the day-to-day operations are addressed promptly and efficiently. Employees are also given the opportunity to develop innovative approaches that help to streamline operations or improve on the ability to monitor company performance. Bobcat of St. Louis is a tremendous company to work for and I am grateful to have been selected to become part of this brilliant organization.

I am honored to work for such an incredible company. Prior to Bobcat of St. Louis, I wasn't sure a company like this truly existed. This family owned company makes you feel just like that, family! I have always been treated with respect and have felt part of the Bobcat team since I walked through the doors on my first day. You can tell that you AND your family are truly cared for. At Bobcat of St. Louis I enjoy coming to work every day and spending time with all of my coworkers. The management team is kind, approachable, and always willing and able to help with any situation. Again, I am grateful to work for such a great company and I believe I could speak for many here at Bobcat of St. Louis!

Plenty of time to work overtime and get ahead. Certain great team members and many mechanics help each other out since management won't.
Cons
Poor management, used threats and harassment to get things done. Management would obligate mechanics to push repairs on certain customers to take care of others for billing purposes. Some Mechanics would make up repairs to increase productivity and managment knew about it. Being yelled at was a normal occurrence with direct management and every one up to the owner knew about it but didn't care. The threat of being fired if you don't do as your told is heavily instilled in people. Very hostile work environment. Upon construction of new building, the construction company called the manager of bobcat the "yeller" because he was always angry and hostile at someone.

Poor Senior Management, Broken Promises

Great operations staff - coworkers who are generally interested in your life and well-being. The Valley Park location has the best Branch Manager you could work for, he is definitely under-valued by upper management, but truly cares and takes care of his people.
Cons
1. Upper management is sneaky and under-handed; they only care about themselves, take all the credit for projects you may have completed. 2. Upper management sees their employees as expendable and just another number, no interest or care in seeing them as people. The turnover rate as this company is a joke; the amount of money they waste on constantly training new employees could be better spent on furthering the positions/well-being of current employees. 3. Corporate Team does not work well together, they each have no backbone and bicker and under-handedly talk about each other behind each other's backs. 4. Company routinely under-pays their staff (when compared to other companies in the area) and continually adds to the employee workload without compensation. 5. Great employees get over-looked and unpaid - while suck up employees gets praised. 6. Long-work hours, limited vacation time.

Our owner said it best "I don't even feel like it's going to work, employees show up everyday and work gets done." That's exactly how I feel. Bobcat of St. Louis has a great work environment, consisting of amazing and loyal employees. We are family owned and operated and you can feel that when you walk in the doors at all of the branches. Bobcat of St. Louis promotes a lot from within, so that's a plus for all employees, future and current.
Cons
With having (9) branches, sometimes communication and continuity within the branches can be tough. But, it's something we continue to work on.
