Family-Like office culture with monthly barbecues and get-togethers, office bowling league etc.

    Cons

Learning curve for those unfamiliar with working in an engineering-heavy office

I have been working at Bodine Electric full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The money people at this company seem to have a sound plan for the long term outlook of the company. Co-workers are good people and it is a relaxed productive environment.

    Cons

The common worker is treated as an idiot who is unable to come up with an idea that would improve a process. Decisions come from people who are out of touch or have never done the very job they are trying to improve. A lot of "yes" men in middle management.

    Advice to Management

Don't dismiss advice just because of the source. 95% of the people want this company to be the best electric motor company in the world. 100% of the people who are willing to share an idea for improvement would like to not just be brushed off but explained to why their idea isnt doable or useful if it isn't.

    Advice to Management

Be open to change, listen to your employees and give some thoughts to their ideas. Try not to micromanage everything. Think outside the box
