    Pros

Discount was 40%. You could put clothing on hold and always saw the latest trends when they came out.

    Cons

One of the managers had a drinking problem that effected the whole place. I would be called in to come help her run the store cus her girlfriend and her were fighting drunk. I did not find this place very professional to work due to her and the allowances she keep having to continue her disruptive behavior.

    Advice to Management

Can't give them any advice now. Especially since body central went bankrupt and shut down our location.

I worked at Body Central part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a basic retail position, slow pace, cashier duties, and straightening clothes. People are friendly, store is easy to memorize. Store Manger will evaluate you weekly, and give you feedback about what you need to work on.

    Cons

There are no full time shifts for sales associates. No overtime is allowed. No benefits are offered. You have to make sales and meet goals in order to get hours.

    Advice to Management

Hire from within, offer benefits, invest in a better quality of clothing, customers complained about this daily. One even called them "throw away clothes". It's hard to make sells on overpriced, poorly made items.

I worked at Body Central full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This was a great starting point for me as an assistant store manager. I did learn a few things when I was there. Unfortunately I learned a little of bad things.

    Cons

The downside to working their was being lied to about employment opportunities. Managers were not well trained. Managers were unethical and ghetto.

    Advice to Management

The company closed its doors January 2014. I guess I don't have any advice to give.
