    Pros

Boecore is Employee conscious, treat their employees fairly (almost like family) , small business (means that management is close by and engaged worth the employees), and they provide promotion opportunities through mentorship and other programs.

    Cons

Not a lot of coins with this one. Boecore deals almost exclusively with governments contracts, so if you doubt have a clearance of the proper certifications there isn't much opportunity here.

I have been working at Boecore full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Boecore does a great job looking out for its employees. As an apprentice, I was offered great pay and later benefits. Executives know the names of their employees and keep track of how they are performing. Boecore has been a great company to work for and I consider a privilege to do so.

    Cons

None that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do what you are doing. Boecore is by and large one of the best small companies to work for in Colorado Springs.

I have been working at Boecore full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They truly Care about their employees. They participate in community volunteer events. Bagel Friday (Corporate managers bring bagels to your place of work 1 Friday a month to talk to and catch up, make sure everything is going well) Robust benefit package. Technical working groups. Flex time work weeks. Employee Recognition Event in December (they fly in all employees and their families from across the country to attend event)

    Cons

I have not had a bad experience with Boecore thus far. They have shown inexperience at times with my particular contract, travel and security, but they are willing to learn and quick to adapt.

I worked at Boecore (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people and great company. Even as I was working alongside other contractors they would talk about how they too would like to work for Boecore. The basis for those comments would stem from Boecore's reputation and conversations with those that work for Boecore. I think that says a lot about the company.

    Cons

Still cannot think of any! The owner and chief executives down to my co-workers were supportive and great to work with throughout my tenure.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide a top down employee-centric approach. It is evident that you treat co-workers and customers with respect and that is why it is difficult to find any negative reviews of Boecore!

I worked at Boecore (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are very friendly and hardworking. They are growing, but not so fast that they lose what makes them great.

    Cons

The folks who work here are mostly middle aged - an advantage to some people, but I would prefer a younger crowd.

    Advice to Management

A good portion of the office is split into cubicles, which are great to make a focused environment for routine work, but are also kind of dismal to be in for any extended length of time - transition to an open office set-up.

    - Invest in employee growth and retention
    - Transition program helps move employees in to areas they are interested in
    - Corporate team is responsive, pleasant, and incredibly helpful!

    Cons

I have been working at Boecore full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Unlike corporations where I was just an unimportant employee, Boecore knows us by name (even the CEO and execs) and treats us so nice it's hard to believe at first.
The pay is always higher than what corporations are willing to pay you, and often significantly higher!

    Cons

A small (~240 people) company so moving around to another position is not as easy as corporations. Company website is 90's-style but new one is coming in April!!

    Advice to Management

Don't let us get too big but we do need some more entry-level jobs available for the younger folks to start off with us.
