RecommendsPositive OutlookI worked at Boise full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Great people that work safely and effectively to ensure our customers received a quality product. The pay and benefits are great and management continually looks for ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste. There is still much of a family atmosphere at a lot of it's locations and I hope that continues in the future.
Cons
If your afraid to work hard and do odd shifts it may not be the right fit for you.

Great Vacation and Benefits. Only open Monday through Friday. Work is simple and repetitive

RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Boise full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
Good company, focused on growth, values and safety. Very decentralized. Consistent work but yet varies daily. Fun atmosphere, often made to feel more like family than an employee.
Cons
Very demanding, health insurance is very high and don't like they make you meet certain (sometimes unobtainable) standards. High amount of favoritism and nepotism

RecommendsNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Boise full-time
Pros
Great company with outstanding emphasis on safety
Cons
Corporate should be more thoughtful of the worker bee that is making them rich. They treat us well as employees but that doesn't pay the bills. Mill work should still be a job that supports families not just another poverty level job..

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Boise full-time
Pros
The work was easy, trivial even. Most people don't have to do any work at all, from what I saw.
Cons
The work was boring. Incredibly. Red tape everywhere. The normal response to the suggestion of making any change was to point to the red tape and use that as excuse not to do anything. Most employees expect to do exactly the same thing today that they did yesterday and will fight with office politics to make sure that happens.
