I have been working at Bolthouse Farms full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great brands
Multiple business units with Campbell's as parent company
Good mission- healthy foods. Fresh. On trend categories

    Cons

    1. High turnover
    2. Ever changing structure
    3. Poor org design
    4. Immature and inexperienced management
    5. Poor morale both in office and out in field
    6. Managers not engaged- do not take time to understand the realities of business climate and issues. Even worse, most don't care

    Advice to Management

To the Campbells CEO: you may need to restructure yet again. This business unit is not positioned to win at retail, win with employees and this will lead to not winning with the consumer

I worked at Bolthouse Farms full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Perks: company vehicle, gas card, yearly company meetings in large city, select membership reimbursements.

Work day is different everyday and you get to meet and connect with a lot of people. Great opportunity to network with many in the grocery industry.

    Cons

So much driving, territory is massive. There seemed to be a sense of disorganization within the company. There was a lot of changes occurring with the Campbell's acquisition, so that could be the reason. There was definitely a lack of communication. If your aren't self motivated or proactive, the job can become very repetitive and it can become difficult to stay focused /motivated.

    Advice to Management

    Better communication and transparency.

I worked at Bolthouse Farms (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I don't have any good words to say about this company don't apply here if your looking for a company who supports and takes care of you.

    Cons

Leadership is weak and not supportive, a lot of turn over, zero balance of life, while it is Corp now the Old regime is still the "good ole boys club" which pushes out a lot of strong employees w higher skill set and experience. There is zero support or great leadership in this company. Those that were good have left.

    Advice to Management

Become more diversified, take on Campbells values, guidance and leadership support because BH doesn't have any of these.

Lots of opportunity for advancement if you want to work a lot of hours and have a good head on your shoulders.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

While the organization is now corporate owned it is still a "good ole boys" club.
