I worked at Bolthouse Farms full-time

    Pros

The office in Santa Monica is located in a historic brick building. The area is by the ocean so the location is outstanding. The people I worked with are talented and sweet. If you like like their products they have tons to sample and take home. The work was what it was. Salad dressing labels, mock-ups, flyers, etc. Always a nice flow of work and proper direction.

    Cons

The parking is a problem but that's typical of the area. I lost a little weight while I was there so I guess that's not a real con. Other than that it's a nice cozy place to work.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your's doing. Hire talented people and let them do their thing.

I worked at Bolthouse Farms full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

My team was great, management was superb. There was transparency and they really took pride in the family-style relationship with the employees

    Cons

Campbells had bought the company out few years before I started, meaning that eventually, their corporate-style ownership would begin rolling out and there would be changes left and right to the organization and policies.

I worked at Bolthouse Farms full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They offer good benefits and decent compensation.

    Cons

I was hired here to work on system support in a team setting, however management moved me to work on an archaic, bug-ridden programming engine on my own immediately after orientation training ended. Actual training for utilizing the system I worked on was very limited, leaving me to figure out most things through trial and error on the job. Some help was offered by the supervisor, however formal training of any kind was limited and unhelpful. Little time or understanding was given for learning, even though management claimed otherwise, and every mistake, technical or otherwise, was kept tallied against me during my time here, even those made during my learning period. Management would constantly hold these mistakes over my head as fear tactics to keep me working with my head down, always reminding me how much I needed the job, how I probably wouldn't get any pay raises unless I put in more time, and how I wouldn't have any support should I choose to leave. Any successes I made were congratulated then quickly forgotten.

I'm not entirely sure how others at the company were treated, since my function at the company kept me pretty isolated from contact with co-workers besides my supervisor, so I can only speak for myself. However, my experience was pretty horrible, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else work here and risk the same.

    Advice to Management

Glad you're not my problem anymore.
