Wonderful company
Apr 23, 2023 - Senior Recruiter in Portland, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Best in the business when it comes to employee well being, work/ life balance, and ample growth opportunity. Although it’s a flat organization, as many boutique staffing firms are, you have the ability to mold and shape your career there. You can challenge yourself and apply your skills at all levels of the company. They care about you as a person, and they care about your happiness. You are not just as worthy because of your sales, you are worthy because you’re you. Very cool! Everyone is so wonderful.
Cons
They do require in office work, with a hybrid model. This works well for me, but could be considered a con to other people.

Good benefits but no clear structure for advancement
May 2, 2023 - Anonymous Employee in Portland, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
People are generally great and most enjoy their work. Work/life balance is encouraged and benefits package is good.
Cons
Attitude of “start doing the job you want and eventually you could be promoted to that job” - sounds great in theory but really means that you’re expected to take on more work than you’re paid for if you want to advance within the company or move laterally between departments. Also, they try with DEI and have good intentions as a whole but when I was there the culture and staff were pretty homogenous.

Pros
A colleague referred me to Gwen Rudolph when I expressed that I was ready for a change, and I am so grateful they did. Gwen cared about what was in my best interest, helped me update my resume, and prepared me for my interview. She made me feel comfortable and supported while also being a voice of reason. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with her. Thank you, Gwen!
Cons
None whatsoever. The rest of my review says it all!

Her guidance provided me with confidence as I began the interview process. She was very responsive throughout and made the experience as smooth as possible.
Cons
None. I highly recommend working with Gwen!

Gwen Rudolph was wonderful! Matched with Legal Assistant position
Apr 24, 2022 - Legal AssistantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Gwen was fantastic! Hands down the best recruiter I've worked with. She was friendly, asked great questions, was incredibly receptive to what I was looking for, and was realistic and straightforward about possibilities based on my experience and preferences. She was also a great help with preparing to interview, and I felt comfortable asking questions and for advice. Gwen made the whole process very smooth, and I so appreciated her work, effort, and availability. 10/10 would work with her again!
Cons
I really don't have any!
Thanks for the feedback, we're glad to hear that Gwen was able to help make the process comfortable!

Pros
First, I want to clarify that I do not work for Boly Welch - rather I've worked with them to find a new position in my industry. Specifically, I worked with Gwen Rudolph, who is an experienced, supportive, and incredibly talented recruiter. I have known Gwen for a long time, several years in fact, and worked with her more than once to find placement. I have referred several folks directly to Gwen over the years. I trust her, and her team, and I know how important it is to Gwen to place the right people in the right places. Gwen is a true professional. From her assistance on the crafting of my resume to the honing of my interview skills, Gwen coached me through every step. Gwen listens to the "dream" job attributes and works hard to find a suitable placement. She is as much invested in my professional goals and success as I am and my experience working with her has always been stellar. Bottom line: Gwen is top-notch. I consider it a privilege to be one of her candidates for placement. Thank you, Gwen!
Cons
I have none. My experience here has only been good.

Pros
I worked with Brittney for about 4 months before she helped me land my dream job. She was patient, encouraging and believed in more then I believed in myself. She always has your best interests at heart and will make sure the fit is perfect for you. If you're wondering if you should work with her, don't hesitate. It will be one of the best decisions for you! Thank you for everything Brittney!!
Cons
Nothing at all, I'll be working with her again!

Brittney Rerecich is Truly the Best
Apr 5, 2021 - Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Portland, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Brittney is truly the best! She went above and beyond and it truly felt like we were a team through out the process of her helping me find a job. She was so positive and encouraging, and she will always look out for your best interest. I interviewed at a couples firms before we found that perfect match, and along the way she was a listening ear and a helping hand. If I am ever in the market of job search again, I will definitely be working with her again.
Cons
None. It was an incredibly positive experience.

Pros
Having Brittney in your corner transforms the job search from anxiety-inducing to a complete joy. Because of Brittney's hard work, I had multiple interviews, all with desirable firms, and landed a great position! Her knowledge of the Portland legal community and insight into what different firms have to offer is invaluable and something a solo job seeker would otherwise miss out on. She's professional, communicative, encouraging, and she delivers.
Cons
None, really. I will continue to work with Brittney in the future.

Brittney Rerecich is amazing!
Sep 10, 2018 - Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Portland, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I can't say enough good things about Brittney! She's super positive and bubbly. She found me jobs I wouldn't have known about, or wouldn't have been able to get an interview for, had she not made sure I got in the door. Even when a job placement or interview wasn't ideal, she always stayed positive and motivated and made sure I did the same. She was always very responsive to my requests (like wanting a different placement from a nightmare law firm) and definitely listened to my wants and needs (type of law, location, long term career goals). I am SO grateful to Brittney. After several temp jobs (which built my experience and gave me insight on what I really wanted in a job), I was offered a permanent position with a law firm that I love! If you show that you're willing to put the time and work in, Brittney will be your biggest cheerleader and will help you way more than you could ever help yourself.
Cons
Temp jobs are great because both parties can decide if the placement is a good fit. The downside is that you make a bit less, but in the long run it's absolutely worth it.
