Create a World class company at some point you have to stop acting like the work is being done in your garage with you friends and family or your growth will be severly limited and quality will falter

I have been working at Bombardier full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay but not great. Lots of over time.

    Cons

Long hours and management is just looking for ways to cheat pay and get people in trouble.

    Advice to Management

Stop firing people who know what they are doing. And hiring stock boys from Walmart.

I have been working at Bombardier full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Interesting work, some nice people

    Cons

Not enough work, low pay, management takes all orders from up North. You will get pulled into people's mistakes and get splattered with the crap because management wants somebody's head. Managers are too quick to blame and never back you up. Pittsburgh was once a good company, now it is hanging on because of the layoffs and new managers who follow blindly. Too much stress, always waiting for the next layoff, firing, or people quitting

    Advice to Management

Managers need to admit mistakes and stay out of micromanaging people

    I worked at Bombardier full-time

    Pros

Benefits are still pretty good...for now

    Cons

Federal Government level bureaucracy, Company has been "transforming" for 10+years, Senior Leadership positions change with the wind

    Advice to Management

There is more focus on the transformation of the company than on the actual business that pays the bills. FYI to BOMBARDIER, if you continue bringing in senior leadership over and over that were successful elsewhere and they aren't cutting it here...it's YOU!
