I have been working at Bombardier full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Work Schedule is good with 4 days off one week, and 3 days off the next, Benefits.

    Cons

Pay is terrible, no pay scale, terrible interview and hiring process, people are hired regularly that should not be working on aircraft. HR department is terrible to deal with when issues arise with pay and benefits, Upper management is absolutely terrible, arrogant to deal with, and unorganized. This business is ran utilizing fear tactics such as "Fix it or else", shortcuts are taken on a regular basis to meet schedules, however when directed by management to shortcut, when an incident occurs, they will lie and back stab, and sit on the opposite side of the table that you are on. Terrible turnover rate.

I have been working at Bombardier full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work not difficult. Alot to learn.

    Cons

Senior managment has little consideration for individual work sites. Thay are trying to make decisions for all sites when all sites are completly different. We've had 3 president in the last 3 years. Tons of confusion. Very small chance for advancement. Guys work there for 20 years and only make 25-30 dollars an hour. Company is stagnate. Every employee here is just another number. You could build rome and still only recieve a hand shake. 24 hours a day operations and constantly losing contracts.

    Advice to Management

Leave decisions of managment to the specific site employees are located. When an incident happens the descision to discipline an employee should not come from senior managment who nevwr stepped foot in the site.
