I have been working at Bon Secours Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Professional growth and development has been great for me. 25 years this year with lots of opportunity for growth. Helped pay for both of my advanced degrees. Started as a prn staff RN.

    Cons

Nothing really. Pace of change can be slow but the organization is open to feedback and values RNs. Could be more clear about career paths but working on this actively.

I have been working at Bon Secours Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This employer offers an engaged environment and the focus is not only on top notch patient care, but employees are valued and encouraged to grow and learn. The benefits are fantastic! Multiple healthcare plans offered and you can easily earn an extra $900 in wellness incentives to put towards medical expenses like Rx, Co-Pays, eye exams, dental visits, etc. I used the tuition reimbursement as well and this benefit is available from day 1. They completely paid for my MBA - huge benefit! My managers have always been so encouraging of me trying new things and taking on new projects to continue to expand within my team. I have had six promotions in the past seven years. Would recommend Bon Secours over and over again to any and all friends interested in healthcare!

    Cons

With such a large organization sometimes it is difficult to know people in other departments, but this is not too bad since I can always find someone to help me.

    Advice to Management

I love how engaging and transparent things are with Bon Secours. I think we have some really strong leaders like Toni Ardabell who are fantastic and lead by example!

I have been working at Bon Secours Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Caring managers and quality of life considered. Company works hard to advance and develop their employees. Benefits are good and regular communication is a priority.

    Cons

Not too many cons. I think the most important thing is to continue open communications and focus on improving Successfactors so it is simpler and easier to use. There is lots of redundancy

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up

I have been working at Bon Secours Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This facility believes in patient-centered care and is changing the culture of SNF from institutional to a home environment. Patients always get what they need, supplies are available, and the corporation believes in a just wage for all its employees. Excellent tuition reimbursement for full-time employees up to 5k a year, great health care benefits and employee perks.

    Cons

Staffing difficulties. With increased acuity of patients - staffing needs to be increased or reallocated.

    Advice to Management

Increase staffing and listen to employee concerns to reduce turnover rates. Survey the area to compare wages.
