I have been working at Bon Secours Richmond Health System full-time

    Pros

I love my job here, they are very flexible with my schedule. As long as my work is done or I'm good progress everyday they have never had an issue with me taking time off, even on short notice. I've been here 7 years now and have had nothing but great bosses who have taught me so much. Came in right out of college and dove into IT here, 95% of the knowledge I use is here due to on the job training, they set an atmosphere of helping on another so no one has had an issue with helping me to grow. They encourage certifications and continuing education and will assist you in that, great company.

    Cons

Great place, too easy to become complacent

    Pros

Really great colleagues that deliver exceptional patient care.

    Cons

Leadership has changed drastically and it looks like they are trying to get rid of most of the really good people to save money. I believe they are looking to be bought.

I have been working at Bon Secours Richmond Health System full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Compensation and benefits are average or above average, documentation software allows good access to for patient's chart within epic, although the documentation itself is more time-consuming than other products

    Cons

Unethical, Dysfunctional, Incompetent! Prior home care management was incompetent and current management is not listening to staff and ramrodding initiatives that are poorly thought out. Too many fellow clinicians are just phoning it in

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff, follow regulations, improve knowledge. Play better oversight of patient care and staff

I have been working at Bon Secours Richmond Health System full-time

    Pros

Nice co-workers. Nice benefit package. No weekends.

    Cons

Pay is okay-not great, too much micro-managing. So many people have come and gone; It's so disturbing. Most co-workers have left with in the company and is flourishing. How do both head managers have a job? They're terrible, and the team leads are so inconsistent..

    Advice to Management

Business leaders really need to look into why so many people are leaving this job. I mean truthfully. We are all voicing our opinions and it falls on deaf ears.. Investigate this situation please listen to your people.
