    I worked at Booking.com full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great work environment: collaborative, creative, and flexible. They understand employee engagement and strive to empower people. Lots of non-monetary benefits.

    Cons

Your experience may vary depending on your team leader and her/his leadership style. There are cliques especially in some of the more established teams that can create negative impacts.

    I worked at Booking.com full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent benefits and an overall positive work environment with nice colleagues. The company is set up for your to succeed and move up quickly if you put in the hard work they expect, as well as take shifts in the beginning that may not be your first choice.

    Cons

Incredibly strict and short lunch and personal breaks, and if you are taking a moment to catch up on an email and your phone is offline you will get an immediate phone call from your supervisor. This made the work a bit stressful. It was also unfortunate that you were always compared to your teammates in your reviews. Quality and quantity are both calculated into your evaluation, and it takes some time to master the skill of balancing these both to meet your quota while making customers happy.

    Advice to Management

I don't have much advice to management at least on the lower levels. My team lead was incredibly friendly and understanding which made me look forward to coming to work.

    I have been working at Booking.com full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, yearly trip to Amsterdam, tons of booking.com swag. There are many great things about this company and I have really enjoyed my time working here and love the people I have met.

    Cons

If you don't suck up or have family/close friends higher up you don't more up.

I worked at Booking.com (More than a year)

    Pros

They take really good care of their employees. They keep fresh coffee and fruits available every day at no cost. They really work with you to make sure they're doing everything possible to help you learn the job and help you perform better.

    Cons

Sometimes it gets really stressful as with any job and the supervisors are known to lose their patience often. The higher ups manage them closely but they seem to do as they like most the time.

    Advice to Management

Not much really, team leaders were always very encouraging even when the team as a whole wasnt doing so hot. The only thing I can think of is not be so nit picky with the rules. If you intend to enforce every single rule written, please be aware that will stress your team out and lower performance is a guarantee.

I have been working at Booking.com full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

All in all being a credit controller at Booking.com is a pretty good gig. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. There are many perks including flexible scheduling, freaky Friday's, travel. Also, they definitely value their employees as there are constant lunches, gifts and recognition.

    Cons

There is very little room in terms of advancement. Most employees aren't able to pick up and move their lives to better their career at Booking and sometimes this is viewed at as a "bad thing" by management. The pay is pretty average, but is decent for West Michigan.

    Advice to Management

Encourage internal growth and use the responses from the Your View survey to better the department. The voices spoken in those surveys are often the truth employees are afraid to voice out loud.

I have been working at Booking.com full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Booking.com is an amazing company to work for! The culture is great, and the benefits you get from working here are pretty decent as well. They may not be the best payers out there when it comes to salary, but there are other things to compensate. If you are dedicated and your work stands out there's plenty of room to grow. Be ready and the opportunities will come!

    Cons

Be prepared for change. Booking.com is still growing and everything changes all the time, usually without notice. From people to processes, so, if you don't like fast pace and a lot of change, this is not the place for you!
