I leanrned how to use professional digital marketing tools like Canva, Wordpress, Ubersuggest, Linkedin, and Lemlist. This experiences really helped me to know how to do a digital marketing job.

This internship is online and remote.

I learned what SEO is, how to use WordPress, how to design graphics on Canva, how to manage an email campaign like Lemlist, and have more opportunities to create and edit videos and publish them on the YouTube channel. Also, I learned how to make my LinkedIn profile looks better.

Cons

We always have virtual meetings. But the boss/our mentor always makes everything clear. So, meeting via Zoom is not a problem at all.

Pros

I was able to get insight on digital marketing and GIS in general. I got to learn many useful marketing skills that I am able to take on into my future employment. Working with the team was great and I learned a lot from the agile process.

The internship is virtual and it is unpaid.

Pros

Working with the team on Bootcamp GIS was an incredible experience because now I feel more confident in the technical skills I have to offer a potential employer. Andres makes sure to create a safe space where everyone is welcomed to receive constructive criticism to make your projects better. As a new graduate student, we did not have the opportunity to gain technical experience in school, Bootcamp GIS gave me access to this necessary experience such as launching digital campaigns, writing/ publishing articles, making graphic designs, and much more. You get to learn what it is like to work with a supportive digital marketing team step by step. Would definitely recommend to any students looking to gain relevant experience in the digital marketing field.

During the time in this internship, I learned a lot about what digital marketing is. I got to know many useful skills such as SEO optimizations. These skills make me produce a better advertisements and graphics which I never got to learned at school. Working with the team is comfortable and make actually made learn a lot.

The intern is remote. It would be nice and if can work in-person too.

Pros

I liked the team I worked with for the duration of the internship. Our boss was always very kind and open to answering questions. Working with the other interns was great because they gave helpful feedback on the graphic content I worked on. Additionally, I'm glad that I gained some useful digital marketing skills that I never knew about prior to this experience, like setting up email campaigns and conducting SEO optimizations.

Some tasks were a bit confusing when first working on them. However, the boss's willingness to answer questions made them much easier to understand.

Pros

I really enjoyed getting to test and review GIS courses and meet with the instructors. Many of the courses were skills that we never were taught in my degree, which made them super interesting to take and I even learned new things with technology I was already familiar with. I enjoyed getting to work on my own, and being able to bring my work back and present it to the rest of the team after I finished for feedback and suggestions. It felt like my opinions and suggestions were respected and valued, which tends to be rare in internships.

I miss getting to do internships in person, but having a remote internship like this made it super easy to keep up with my classes during the semester, and also be able to contribute a lot during my internship.

Pros

I am very glad I got to be part of this internship. I learned a lot about business marketing, using tools such as SEO Content Strategy, and how to use social media effectively in order to reach as many people as possible, and also was honored to take some of the GIS courses Bootcamp GIS offers where I learned some skills I wouldn't have learned anywhere else.

I got to review some of the courses and if there was anything that had to be worked on I would give my feedback.
