    Pros

    I worked at boots for 2 years whilst studying. I loved it. Great people and I was sad to leave.

    I worked at Boots part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Lots of opportunities if you choose to look for them. Really good employee discounts, especially double discount day

    Cons

    Lack of staff. Often I would have to put up with very long queues of customers due to other staff members chatting in the break room. No spare time for training.

    I worked at Boots part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Lots of extra hours, flexible, great management, staff discount, brilliant company values, constant e-learning, can go as far as you want.

    Cons

    I didn't get as much practical training as I would have liked, not enough value placed on the self-selection cosmetics staff, not very welcoming staff in other stores, VERY clique-y in other stores.

    Advice to Management

    Try harder to get decent staff. Customer service quality is going down since I first started working there. Invest more in the staff that WANT to go further and see it as a career rather than a job 'for now'.
