You certainly work long hours and you may suffer if you do not love your work. As in all the consulting firms, sometimes you may suffer from the fact that you don't put in practice what you recommend to your clients

It is one of top consulting firms in the world and China. Its customers are almost all famous international firms. Its staff also all have a strong backgroud with MBA from world renowed business schools.

Its work load is too heavy. You have to pay full attention on what you are doing and may word extra hours to finish your task. Because every interns will be rated by his /her supervisor, you have to work hard to get the chance to continue working hard.

Flexibility and compensation as a freelance graphic artist. I've worked as a freelancer with Booz for over 13 years and have been very satified until resently.

Cons

Jobs in graphics are being shipped to India limiting my workload. I use it count on about 10-15 hrs a week and now I'm lucky to see 5 hours of work. Freelancers are third in line behind full-time employees and India outsourcing.

Bad work life balance - Consultants are expected to work long hours and on week-ends. Seniors just care about selling projects - which end up in assignments with very big scopes and under-resourced
