    Pros

    Get broad experience from global network. Regularly benchmarking each location and share knowledge friendly. It has exclusive technology in auto transmission clutch, so job is stable.

    Cons

    Electric car is developed, but borgwarner's main area is auto transmission. Therefore, depending on the trend of power train type, its business become risky.

    Pros

    Each division runs like smaller company. Allows each person to have a broader exposure as opposed to a laser focus on a small aspect or feature.

    Cons

    Low accountability which leads to a lot of dead weight.
    Middle management is all the 'old guard' of the past and have trouble adopting modern methods.

    Advice to Management

    Cut the low performers and invest that money into keeping those who consistently deliver.
    Stop adding layers of top management.
    Benchmark your non-monetary compensation against your peers. (vacation, telecommute, etc)
