Management uniformed and naïve, mostly aphetic

    Advice to Management

Place managers who are experienced in the dept. they work, not bring in someone who has never worked in that type of service, just because they have a degree.

    Cons

    Bad working climate and moral
    Short term focus
Follows decisions made abroad to please management

    Advice to Management

Will lose trust and engagement of employees if not ethical standards are followed. Acting snaky is a short term view that you end up losing on the long run.

    Pros

Benefits are great and people are nice.

    Cons

Job security is awful. Company is run by skittish foreign investors who panic at the drop of a hat. Skilled Labor steadily was faded out and sent overseas to increase profits. This leads to massive fluctuations product production and demand. Mass layoffs are common (100 + people)

    Advice to Management

Relax and focus more on sustainability instead of rapid unattainable growth. Peoples family's depend on solid jobs and incomes to survive.

    Pros

Stable company for the most part. A lot of good people. Descent pay, descent benefits, good amount of time off.

    Cons

The company runs on nonsensical bureaucracy, made and enforced by people who think a job well done results in some sort of form that they can file in a folder. If you want to work here, be ready to fill out ten pages of forms for two minutes of work.

    Advice to Management

Get off the high horse and pay attention to how inefficiently the company is running. Stop listening to "reports" and pay attention to the details. simplify the processes. The bureaucracy is incredible

I worked at Bosch Rexroth (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company itself is a great company, solid benefits.

    Cons

Non Profit company that relocates major departments to other parts of the country every few years. No stability as far as jobs longevity goes. Managers in place that will intentionally allow losses to occur to meet US non profit standards. Human Resources are company driven and has informed managers/personal within the company who filed complaints about them. Managers run personal very poorly in many cases, will place temp workers in higher pay promotional jobs as to not keep company employee salaries down.

    Advice to Management

    Educate yourselves.
