I worked at Bose full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Nothing good to say after what they've done to customers and employee's

    Cons

Since 200+ got laid off and a whole group got decimated a deep mistrust has festered, and grown.

    Advice to Management

Moresca and Mansell will run the Company Dr. Bose invisioned into the ground, screwing 100's of customers over the Bose Ride truck seat debacle. Within a year there will be no BOSE in Framingham as we know it.

I worked at Bose full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Demo Product, little supervision, no one to bother you, The product is typically thought of by consumers as being a top shelf consumer electronics product.

    Cons

no raises, no advancement, the company had one of its best years and they see no reason to give back anything to the people that helped make it happen. lousy benefits, you could be laid off at any time with little or no real rational reason at all. management has the worst follow through of any company I've ever worked with. They promote the youngest grape kool-aid consuming, don't care about work-life balance kids and squeeze every bit of juice from then but with nowhere to go, and most jobs going 3pl the best leave for other opportunities. Top management will lie to you and dangle carrots to keep the better folks around until they realize that there's nothing there but empty promises. Wages aren't equal and some people were hired at the same time at half or even a third of the rate of others for unknown reasons. Your pay depends on sales to a degree but they lack the ability to forecast demand or just don't have the guts to take risks and produce adequate quantities of product to meet the goals they set.

    Advice to Management

If you weren't all so worried about your own jobs you might think to look after the teams that get it done for you. Take the 3pl teams back inside and reevaluate the means by which your people are able to get a raise

I have been working at Bose (Less than a year)

    Pros

Paid weekly, will help pay for college, ok benefits, high but ok, 401k / Retirement, those are about the only Pros

    Cons

Lies, lies, lies..don,t let the name "BOSE" fool you into thinking your working for a great Company. The company will lie & use you up until they can't no more.

    Advice to Management

Management needs training on how to treat employees. From the head management in this place, all the way down to the leads. Maybe if they get better management a lot of employees wouldn't leave. I saw some of the best employees leave and move on due to lack of management and appreciation.
