I have been working at Bose full-time

    Pros

Respected brand, cool products. Coworkers are amazing and work hard. Good benefits and work/life balance. High job security, though that is starting to change.

    Cons

Success at this company has more to do with your social game than anything else. Senior Management is very top heavy and resembles the Trump White House. Old, white, and male with a country club vibe. They waste most of their time in meetings while the underlings do the actual work. If half of the managers were fired at random it would be a net gain for the company. Competition has caught up in audio. The brand is beginning to lose its power and management has no idea how to deal with it. Now everyone including the janitor is expected to have a "vision". Being good at your job isn't enough anymore.

I have been working at Bose for less than a year

    Pros

Work life balance is great! You manage your schedule as you please, either by working home office or leaving early for appointments. People in general are great individuals, with good values and manners. Salary is not bad for an intern

    Cons

Office is far away - I had to buy a car - and it is kind of outdated...

I worked at Bose for less than a year

    Pros

Work life balance, very friendly employees and manager, and everyone is understanding

    Cons

Three major issues. First the management is horrible. They have way too many people doing nothing in higher positions. They have started the whole lean strategy and have no understanding of creating a community where employees work at their highest potential. Second major issue is that the company is stuck in 20 years ago. All the software they use from communication to version control are all ridiculously old and the people involved have no interest to move on from these obsolete tools and software. Third major issues is that they spend a lot of money on interns while interns don't have specific tasks. I learned nothing at my job and barely did any work which in my opinion the problem comes from bad management and too much hierarchy. They seriously need to get rid of A LOT of people in management and business people. There are people getting paid promoting stupid or common sense business strategies instead of hiring quality engineers and making the culture and environment better.
