    I worked at Boston Analytics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Good colleagues to work with. But, by now, a majority of them would have probably left the firm. The others who are left are just waiting for their chance to shift. Most of the projects are copy paste / research oriented projects. Hardly any strategy involved. In certain projects there is scope of good work that can be done which the management ruins by its bad planning or improper scoping of project. One good consulting...

    A plethora of things to write about ( I can cover only a handful) - No salaries on time for the last 10 months, forget about hikes and benefits such as sodexo, even the reimbursements have not been paid -Research firm masquerading as a strategy consulting firm and that too they do without a single license for research database and abuse client specific access for BD and other projects - No F&F settlement after...

    Advice to Management

    - First and foremost, treat employees with respect. They have been working for your organization diligently even if the salaries are not being paid, at least appreciate that - Change the top management and instill a young leader to lead the consulting division - Do quality consulting work by hiring some good talent and pay them salaries on time even if it means pumping some extra capital - Engaged employer'...

    I have been working at Boston Analytics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The company is doing some interesting work on technology and industrial consulting...start-up mentality...lots of learn especially on product development. Less politics

    Cons

    If you are in BA to chill out, you are better off at a larger consulting firm, where you can fly under the radar :) No such hope here.

    Keep up the good work and success will be yours...people from different teams should be working more closer with each other

    I worked at Boston Analytics for more than a year

    Pros

    Learning experience,meritocratic.The changes of growing in the company are good given one is willing to sweat.Good HR policies.

    Cons

    Lot of work.Poor work life balance.The company extracts each and every cent they invest in you ,even more.Only hard workers can survive.

    Advice to Management

    Please take care of your people.The way you treat then is the way they form opinion of it.A satisfied employee is will generate loyalty and reduce layoff rate.

    Pros

    - While working at BA, learning curve follows exponential path - BA provides ample opportunities to prove one's caliber. You will be given opportunity to own a project in the early stages of career - Client facing and challenging role - One can ask the manager to allocate him/her on a specific project - High visibility to top management

    Cons

    - Sometimes projects are too demanding, so need to put extra hours to meet the deadline

    Make the office environment more employee friendly

    -Select few will get to do really good technology consulting work -People from good B-Schools join the organization

    Cons

    -No matter what you are hired for, you will be forced for tech practice. If you do not adapt, you are fired. -Salary is very low -Mid-management is crazy and incompetent -No culture
