I worked at Boston Analytics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The good thing about the company was its resources. But most of them have left

    Cons

Leadership lack in vision Salaries not on time BI tool which they sell it in the name of machine learning and artificial intelligence (Giving rating as 1 since that is the lowest rating one can give)

    Advice to Management

Advice to current employees, don't give any advice to management. Management gives pink slip to anyone who tries to give them any advice

I worked at Boston Analytics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good colleagues to work with. But, by now, a majority of them would have probably left the firm. The others who are left are just waiting for their chance to shift. Most of the projects are copy paste / research oriented projects. Hardly any strategy involved. In certain projects there is scope of good work that can be done which the management ruins by its bad planning or improper scoping of project. One good consulting...

    Cons

A plethora of things to write about ( I can cover only a handful) - No salaries on time for the last 10 months, forget about hikes and benefits such as sodexo, even the reimbursements have not been paid -Research firm masquerading as a strategy consulting firm and that too they do without a single license for research database and abuse client specific access for BD and other projects - No F&F settlement after...

    Advice to Management

    - First and foremost, treat employees with respect. They have been working for your organization diligently even if the salaries are not being paid, at least appreciate that - Change the top management and instill a young leader to lead the consulting division - Do quality consulting work by hiring some good talent and pay them salaries on time even if it means pumping some extra capital - Engaged employer'...

I have been working at Boston Analytics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The company has moved into a great consulting area where it is unique. It is developing very good traction in the market place with many large clients in the pipeline because of its capability. The management is very hands on and works alongside for project delivery. Trusting management that goes out of the way to develop people and give them responsibilities

    Cons

Financial issues are at the end. Lots of work coming in with some very good quality people with pedigree joining. The company is trying to build itself after some exits and will take about 6 months to come up to full strength.

    Advice to Management

Stay focused on the consulting and applications agenda and really focus on delivery.

I worked at Boston Analytics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

High quality of work which is very analytical. Most will struggle if they do not self learn and adapt. Very demanding work that requires hard work and creativity

    Cons

Volume of work and engagements need to increase. There are some great projects coming in.

    Advice to Management

Keep on focusing on the technology agenda and combine with consulting

I worked at Boston Analytics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People confuse BA with some analytics company, that will land you few interviews from actual analytics firms, from there on you're on your own to crack the interviews.

    Cons

Many! 1. Salary not on time. 2. Poor work, they say whatever online but actual work is copy paste. 3. Higher management (especially COO) is unethical and fool clients. The real problem in the firm over years is him. CEO is a nice fellow though. 4. Poor work life balance; no paid time off. You literally have to beg to get time offs.

    Advice to Management

Fire COO, and you'll see some changes start happening.

I have been working at Boston Analytics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Worked with some sharp minds coming from large consulting firms, but now most of that crowd has already left. Not saying that present employees are not good but they will also leave soon as it is getting more and more difficult to work in such bad environment.

    Cons

Management is pretty ambivalent in terms of what is required in a project as well as what is good for the company. Most of the times they dont even treat employees with respect. Personal life of an employee is never given importance. No benefits like reimbursements, Sodexo etc. From last 8 months, employees are denied salary on time by mentioning one line "Rebuilding the organization". It is not difficult for employees...

    Advice to Management

    1. Get financial help 2. Pay people on time (Even monthly salary will suffice! For next 4-5 months) 3. Hire few good and dedicated sales people and consultants (able to scope and deliver projects) 4. Improve image in market by focusing on executing next few projects with better scope management and very high quality research but not compromising on consulting fee (If you will take yourself seriously, they will too!)

    Pros

yeah the regular stuff... regular copy paste jobs and not even a single pure consulting work (sarcasm)... Lol do not join this company... hope you go through the list of reviews before making a decision

    Cons

    1. Doesn't pay salaries on time 2. Even after you have left the company, It would keep you strangled for more than 6 months in receiving your full and final amount. Worst company as i would say so

    Advice to Management

Please try to live up to your dues.,.. and if you can better close such a company rather than worsening some ppls carrers

    Pros

Fancy company title, Employers are good talkers, fake accents, aimless company , pack of jokers- kind of funny the way they work

    Cons

They will never give you full salary- think 10 times before joining. When you leave the firm they will not pay your F&F. I dont see why someone should join this firm

    Advice to Management

Please declare bankruptcy - You are filling your bank accounts driving Audi to office but can not pay employees their due !!

I have been working at Boston Analytics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company is doing some interesting work on technology and industrial consulting...start-up mentality...lots of learn especially on product development. Less politics

    Cons

If you are in BA to chill out, you are better off at a larger consulting firm, where you can fly under the radar :) No such hope here.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and success will be yours...people from different teams should be working more closer with each other

    Pros

Great place to learn, but the requirements never freeze. With co-operative employees.

    Cons

People here don't know what they actually want . They have been designing a product since ages but they are still not sure about it. The product management team is so unsure about the requirements though they are on a good thought but unclear about the vision they have. The management team is too bad. The management people are rude , probably don't respect the employees and maintain a bad culture . They would provide...
