I worked at Boston Children's Hospital full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Supportive environment, hospital monetary incentives, positive environment, advanced from level I to IV within my time there as well as learned new skills

    Cons

The only con for me was the commute in/out of Boston

    Advice to Management

None. Now that there is a satellite closer to where I live I would love to regain employment

I have been working at Boston Children's Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Enjoy the people on my unit, everyone is very helpful and supportive. Lots of resources for patients, Admin is constantly trying to improve pt experiences

    Cons

Things changing constantly for nurse practice and it can be hard to keep up. Some doctors are very hard to work with (most are great). Management has favorites.

    Advice to Management

Make sure RNs who want to get involved are given the time and opportunity.
