    Pros

Unbelievable benefits / health insurance, great job perks (travel, team events, etc.), very supportive culture with great people that want to help you grow and succeed

    Cons

Tough work life balance typical to consulting Going through a lot of growth right now so some changes but seem reasonable

I have been working at Boston Consulting Group full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Great projects, great people, high impact, always challenging

    Cons

Work life balance suffers, lots of travel, and lots of hours if you want to be above average and make it through the rankings. A lot of politics in the last years to make it to Partner

I have been working at Boston Consulting Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    - great people - mostly high impact work - amazing perks and benefits - great training opportunities - fast career growth

    Cons

    - as with all consulting, lots of travel - hours can be long - some projects not as exciting as others

    Advice to Management

Do more work on the work life balance side as people mostly leave because of that

I have been working at Boston Consulting Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people in a fast paced environment that accelerates career trajectories and leads to non-stop learning

    Cons

Hours can be very long and personal life is always second to making sure the job gets done on time

    Advice to Management

Keep fostering a great environment for new consultants to learn and grow, but consider offering more competitive compensations, especially to undergraduate hires

I have been working at Boston Consulting Group full-time

    Pros

Great people. Generally interesting projects if you are working in areas you like. Adds a lot of credibility to your resume and you have the opportunity to pick up some solid skills.

    Cons

A lot of travel and quite a lot of work. The idea of BCG being a "strategy" firm seems to be dying -- more implementation work now that strategy. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not what some people expect.

    Advice to Management

Firm is getting away from generalist approach and strategy work. Please try to keep incubating those themes for people who are interested.

I worked at Boston Consulting Group full-time

    Pros

    - Great people - always smart, usually kind, good team environment - Good office culture - Great place to learn and grow professionally

    Cons

The only cons I have are the ones you'd find for any similar job at a top management consulting firm: you will work a lot and you will likely experience a high degree of stress. The firm does what I can to combat that, but it's just the nature of the work
