Reviews about "upper management"
Return to all Reviews- Former Contractor, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Great staff of healthcare professionals who care about providing coverage to those who would otherwise have none.
Cons
Too many meetings, and a few of these are conducted without an agenda. Some also end without any actionable plan or resolution. In addition, upper management appears to be bleeding dollars on expansion ventures into other states.

Pros
Good pay, very good benefits.
Cons
Upper management changes too often.
- Former Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
great pay and benefits; excellent mission; coworkers
Cons
tumultuous change in upper management; C suite 100% turned over in a year and new management has dislike/distrust of smart women. Prior CEO was very inclusive and made a point to lift up other women. Current management has pushed many women out who were talented, hard working, intelligent and passionate about the work with little explanation.

Pros
Good pay and get to work from home
Cons
lack of communication and upper management not held accountable
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Depending on manager, flexible work from home balance. Good health insurance and 401 match. Good mission.
Cons
No transparency from upper management. Lots of moving parts in the exec level with little communication. Benefits and culture has changed a lot since merging with the hospital - not the the same, close culture as a few years ago, as pretty much there is a whole new C suite. Some supervisors aren’t willing to teach so it could be a toss up in your experience and learning.
Continue readingWe appreciate your feedback and we’re glad you are satisfied with our remote work options, benefits and company mission. We agree that these are all very important pieces of our employment experience. Regarding your other feedback, it is always a goal of our senior leadership to constantly feed communication to our teams. It is also a priority of our senior leaders to be as transparent as they possibly can be, and we appreciate your insight. Thank you for all that you do.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Laid back place to work. Once you do your time in customer care for about a year you can go anywhere in this company. Fellow coworkers are great. Great hours and very flexible. The benefits aren't bad either. They love to see promotion from within. Inviting and warm environment. Great training team - they really do a great job of delivering to you all the information you need.
Cons
Management has no idea what it is like to be on the phone handling customers. Takes quality and CPH very seriously after three months trial period. They are not afraid to give you the boot if you're a temp. You can stay a temp for years even if they are happy with you. Upper management is so out of sync with the smaller people.

Pros
good pay rate compared to competitors and high level of transparency regarding pay grades across all levels of the organization, lots of vacation time, work required during business hours only
Cons
low morale, upper management is disconnected and lacks focus, poor performers are allowed to float along for years without being held accountable
