I have been working at Boston Scientific full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The benefits and perks of working for Boston Scientific are beyond belief. I can never switch companies because they won't even come close in comparison to BSC.

    Cons

    I can't think of any.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I have been working at Boston Scientific as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

As an intern, they give you real work- CAD, product testing, and rapid prototyping (depending on the department). Fantastic intern experience- lots of interns to network and hang out with, lots of intern events. I play soccer at lunch twice a week, the company is flexible with appointments, hours are flexible depending on employee's commute, it's really just a great place to work. Everyone I talk to loves their job

    Cons

Sometimes there can be a lot of red tape within the medical device industry and also within a larger corporation such as Boston Scientific

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing

    Cons

I have been working at Boston Scientific full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a pretty flat culture which is nice.
     The campus is nice looking.
There are opportunities to own projects and you get noticed for it.

    Cons

The office is far from the city and expect to work long days on top of a long commute. Compensation is also weak compared to other companies. There are limited growth opportunities, which is odd since turn over is very high.
Work life balance is at the whim of your manager.

    Advice to Management

Make work life balance and a culture for all teams a focus. Enforce a strict policy for work life balance to avoid manager abuse at the exploitation of employees.

I have been working at Boston Scientific full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Boston scientific has a terrific tone at the top and a very collaborative culture. It's an environment where people are always willing to help one another.

    Cons

Sometimes at Boston Scientific there may not be enough people on a project or team to get all the work done. It is a high performing culture and a lot is expected of the employees but sometimes this leads to capacity issues.

    Advice to Management

    Work on prioritizing projects

I have been working at Boston Scientific full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great systems, processes in place that'll give you wonderful experience. Great company culture, employee first attitude, flex hours & benefits. Make you feel part of the company.

    Cons

Depending on the manager some groups might suffer. Little bit of favoritism here and there (I guess like any other company).

    Advice to Management

Find out groups/managers who promote favoritism and root them out. Never loose employee first attitude.
